Once upon a time, Grandma ate pancakes on the footbridge, her feet dangling from the bridge, the blue sky above, clear water below, lush green fields all around, 'tis a tradition!
In keeping with Grandma's tradition, we dined upon our pancakes on the foot bridge...

We had the pleasure of a visit from Seth and his Mom!
After weedwacking the tall grass all over the island, he took the kayak for a ride.

It was so hot that we spent much of our time in the water! It was so pleasant to be able to just go for a kayak or canoe ride!

and then get out and go swimming...
It proved to not be such a brilliant idea...
they had to swim all the way back lugging those kayak's behind them while trying not to touch the mucky bottom!

Notice who's splashing each other here, it couldn't be Seth and Stephanie, *the* two most competitive people!
Stephanie and Amanda were struck with a light of genius and attempted to tip Seth and Samuel's canoe over but Seth discovered their intentions and proceeded to tip Tabitha and Amanda which he accomplished and then began to lay siege on Stephanie's kayak. He had met his match though, and with the aid of Amanda and Tabitha, Stephanie tipped Seth's canoe over but he jumped out just in time to avoid the humiliation of having been tipped over by us girls! If you look at the picture you can see the splash he made on the other side of the canoe.
