Blest the Man That Fears Jehovah ~ Psalm 128

Here's a beautiful hymn that we have been practicing:

1. Blest the man that fears Jehovah, walking ever in his ways;
by your toil you shall be prospered and be happy all your days.

2. In your wife you shall have gladness, she shall fill your home with good,
happy in her loving service and the joys of motherhood.

3. Joyful children, sons and daughters, shall about your table meet,
olive plants, in strength and beauty, full of hope and promise sweet.

4. Lo, on him that fears Jehovah shall this blessedness attend,
for Jehovah out of Zion shall to you his blessing send.

5. You shall see God's kingdom prosper all your days, till life shall cease,
you shall see your children's children; on your peoples, Lord, be peace.

Muffins, Skating and Lost Valley!

While Amanda, Tabitha, Felicity, and Chariti, made muffins....

Hannah was teaching Ruthie and Stephanie to play Mancala

The Barton's have these pretty little cups that were just the right size for the extra muffin batter!

Aunt Beth and Amanda

Skating...

Momma and Aunt Rhonda, I like this picture of you ladies.

Stephanie's getting her skates on

Belle resting in the snow

Ruthie went cross-country skiing

Amanda helping Chariti put her skates on

Shoveling the snow off the ice so we can skate!

Skating train!

Tabitha and Sarah

Mom was pulling out and she got stuck in the snow so we all got behind the van and pushed it out of the snow! That was fun!

And then we all got into the suburban and went skiing at Lost Valley! I must say, I think that's a pretty cool name for a ski mountain. That was alot of fun and having skiied only at Crotched before it was nice to experience skiing at a different mountain! Thanks for inviting us to go along!

Check back soon to see our next post!
We Mello's, city slickers that we are, could never have guessed the surprise that these Mainers were about to give us and that you'll see in our next post! Memories that we will NEVER forget! LOL!

Dress-Up, Queenie and Fiddling!

Amanda is so good with the kids! She was reading to the little kids using great vocal inflections, even as someone who's not a little kid I thought it was fun to listen to her!

Someone looks like a cold ninja!

Felicity has gone undercover
~~~
Later on we went outside for some fresh air and to build a bird friendly snowlady.
We named her Queenie :)
Seth and Chariti making her base...
...and her second layer...
look at that strong little man!
Snowball fight!
Amanda and Hannah working on Queenie
Lookout!
sled rides!
Ummm...I think something's a little backwards there...lol
Ah! Looks like Samuel did a pretty good job aiming with that snowball!
Then in the evening we took out our instruments and practiced the piece from Fiddle-icious, we enjoyed playing with Amanda and Samuel and it was great to learn some things too!
Yes, Stephanie does play the viola and I play the violin.:)
Our Visit with the Bartons Part 4: Guests for Dinner!
On Wednesday, we invited some families from the Barton's church over so we could have dinner together!
Samuel poured forth his creativity and became quite artistic with the napkins!
The table is set and ready for dinner!
Our guests arrive!
Those are some cute little guests!
Beginning his musical education early I see!
Csheeeshhhh!!!
Aww, Gabriel fell asleep on Grandma's lap!
Tabitha was feeding Abigail and then Abigail started screaming and grunting because Tabitha was taking too long to feed her! lol
Momma's turn to hold er.. squeeze..Abigail!
Amanda and Titus
The ladies admiring and talking to Abigail
We had so much fun listening to all the stories that Josiah and Lance had!
We all clapped and applauded for Aunt Beth to take the last tuxedo brownie! lol
Momma and Mrs. Chick, two wonderful ladies!
Stephanie and Amanda another two very dear and sweet young ladies.
And we can't forget Gabriel! :)
Ruthie,
 listening to the conversation while holding Abigail
Stephanie is quite the natural when it comes to babies, I supposes it comes from being the oldest of six children.
Little babies are so delicious to squeeze!
Marshall's chompin on the peanuts lol
A few pictures before we say farwell
It was such a pleasure to have all of you over! I know we really enjoyed that evening, I just wish we could do it again!
After our company left Ruthie was in the mood to watch a movie and the rest of us had no objections, except Mom was too tired so she and the little people went to bed and the rest of us gathered in Aunt Beth's room to  watch The Mark of Zorro. We Mello's had never seen it however I've heard it well spoken of  thus I was quite interested in watching it!
While Ruthie was trying to figure out why the internet wasn't working, I took mirror portraits of us!
and Amanda was making faces of herself in the mirror so I snapped a few fun pictures of her!
This is one of the pictures we had permission to post :)
