Stephanie's 23rd Birthday!

Happy Birthday to my dearest big sister in the whole world!!! Stephanie, having been deprived of your illustrious company for the past week I now see more clearly than ever before the depths that you bring to our home. I have been completely lost without you. Your "hands that are eager for work"  and easygoing spirit are a testimony and an example to me. I love you Stephanie!!! ♥♥♥

Happy Birthday Stephanie!!!

She and Mom went out to eat for breakfast to Cornerstone, as is our tradition. :)

That night Monumental had it's premier showing on Stephanie's birthday March 27th, so a group from church all met at the Fournier's to celebrate Stephanie's birthday with a pizza dinner and the Fournier's made an ice cream cake kind of desert, it was delicious! They even wrote "Happy Birthday Stephanie" on one of the cakes!

 :)

 Happy Birthday to youuuu!!!

Thar she blows!

At the theater while the commercials were going we took pictures, talked and laughed with each other.

We're all ready to watch Monumental!

The whole crowd of people who attended this special premiering, the theater could only hold 200 people and every seat was filled!

So, that was Stephanie's 23rd birthday! We thought watching Monumental was a rather special way to end  the day.
Monumental proved to be every bit as awesome as I'd thought it'd be. Kirk Cameron presents a logical perusal of America's founding and the beliefs and mindset it was founded upon, his documentary comes as refreshing compared to the thousands of others that falsely propose they have America's problems and solutions figured out. So what sets this one apart? Kirk Cameron looks back to what began America's success in the first place in order to find the solution to what will keep it going. Even to someone who doesn't embrace Christianity and the Scriptures, it is impossible to avoid the fact that it was from the Bible that our founding fathers received their model of government, as illustrated in the Monument which this documentary centers around and is named after, The Forefather Monument.
If you have the opportunity to see this documentary, our family would definitely highly recommend it! It's worth the time and money to support this kind of film and learn from its message.

New York City with Mr. Fournier!

Welcome to our blog one and all! Thanks for visiting!
This next post is a trip to New York City that Stephanie and Tabitha had the privilege to go on with Mr. Fournier and his girls!
Starting off the day at a good New York City Bakery!

quickly eating our breakfast before skidding out the door

We took a quick tour of Bergdorf Goodman before taking a picture with this snobby friend. The people in Bergdorf Goodman were keeping a sharp eye on us, I haven't the slightest idea why but they seemed to doubt our wealthy appearance. ;)

We saw a pair of ballet slippers for $3,000! As we walked the halls of this fine store Stephanie and I stopped to admire a shirt, with Christmas in mind we thought of Mom and counted our pennies, but alas Stephanie turned the price tag over and... gasp! Grabbing the tag I was horrified to see the astounding $1500 price for a shirt! Where's the clearance section? Actually, on second thought, we probably couldn't afford that either!

Mr. Fournier posing in front of the Apple store which is completely under ground!
(obviously you can't see it here...that glass cube is the entrance :)

Prada!

Saint Thomas Church ~ Fifth Avenue NYC

Absolutely Gorgeous with all that detail!

St. Patrick's Cathedral
These buildings are just incredible! So much detail and so majestic looking among the more modern buildings.

Fashion Ave
FOX!
Only Stephanie would stick her hand in its head...

The Bridal Room!

Dazzling...and just...just...
BEAUTIFUL!

Stephanie claims that she found her wedding tiara...
I don't think she saw the price tag!

This veil was $300!
I think I'll make my own!
Time for lunch!

We ate at an authentic Chinese restaurant, as you can see behind Stephanie there was a Chinese lady shelling the green beans, this food is fresh!
Mr Fourneir did say that NYC has the best food!

Mmmmm, baby shrimp with garlic sauce!

Freshly invigorated, we head out again and stopped by B&J Fabric store

Did someone say FABRIC??? :)
B&J Fabrics

hmmm, not bad eh? ;)

$1,000 a yard!

Oscar winner Sandra Bullock wore a dress made out of this fabric--thus the price :)
The fabric itself was made completely out beads, and was very heavy!

The fabric here was absolutely BEAUTIFUL!

I don;t remember the name of this store...
We're looking for the price of some really cute fabric :)

Mary Poppins!
The next store we wanted to go to was on the other side of Times Square so we held hands in a tight chain and took a walk through the extremely crowded Times Square!

Welcome to Times Square!
I have never seen a place so crowded! Lights, billboards, people and noise everywhere!  A very exciting place but whenever I think of it I can't help but think of what Mr. Fournier said about the resemblance between Broadway and the broad way. Very exciting but I think I'll pass.

On to another fabric store!
