Stephanie's 23rd Birthday!

Happy Birthday to my dearest big sister in the whole world!!! Stephanie, having been deprived of your illustrious company for the past week I now see more clearly than ever before the depths that you bring to our home. I have been completely lost without you. Your "hands that are eager for work"  and easygoing spirit are a testimony and an example to me. I love you Stephanie!!! ♥♥♥

Happy Birthday Stephanie!!!

She and Mom went out to eat for breakfast to Cornerstone, as is our tradition. :)

That night Monumental had it's premier showing on Stephanie's birthday March 27th, so a group from church all met at the Fournier's to celebrate Stephanie's birthday with a pizza dinner and the Fournier's made an ice cream cake kind of desert, it was delicious! They even wrote "Happy Birthday Stephanie" on one of the cakes!

 :)

 Happy Birthday to youuuu!!!

Thar she blows!

At the theater while the commercials were going we took pictures, talked and laughed with each other.

We're all ready to watch Monumental!

The whole crowd of people who attended this special premiering, the theater could only hold 200 people and every seat was filled!

So, that was Stephanie's 23rd birthday! We thought watching Monumental was a rather special way to end  the day.
Monumental proved to be every bit as awesome as I'd thought it'd be. Kirk Cameron presents a logical perusal of America's founding and the beliefs and mindset it was founded upon, his documentary comes as refreshing compared to the thousands of others that falsely propose they have America's problems and solutions figured out. So what sets this one apart? Kirk Cameron looks back to what began America's success in the first place in order to find the solution to what will keep it going. Even to someone who doesn't embrace Christianity and the Scriptures, it is impossible to avoid the fact that it was from the Bible that our founding fathers received their model of government, as illustrated in the Monument which this documentary centers around and is named after, The Forefather Monument.
If you have the opportunity to see this documentary, our family would definitely highly recommend it! It's worth the time and money to support this kind of film and learn from its message.

Happy Birthday Emily!

Mom and Stephanie made this cake and cupcakes for Emily's birthday

Amanda and Ruthie came over to help make Emily's cake and so that Mom and Stephanie could teach them how to make and work with fondant.

Streans Farewell Party

A dear family from our church, the Stearns, are moving to Florida in June. We're so sad that they are! Mr. Stearns had to go down early so the Fournier's planned a surprise farewell party back in March so that the whole family would be there for it. Stearn family, we are going to miss you dearly!

Stephanie whipped together all her talent and effort to make this cake for the Stearns, yep it's a cake. :)

He's an odd one, that one...:)
These guys were entrusted with the responsibility of carrying in the cake

Mom poses next to Stephanie's creation

 Putting on the finishing touches

People gather around to admire the cake

Anticipation rises as we await the Stearn's entrance, the Fournier's had it all planned out. They and the Stearns were going to leave to go on a hike together and Mrs. Fournier would conveniently "forget" her pocketbook causing them to go back for it. In the 15 minutes that they were gone the rest of us would have transformed the church into the Stearns Farewell Party! Wallah! Worked like clockwork! The Stearns were so surprised and blessed!

We were soooo happy to see that they loved their cake!

Mrs. Stearns was so happy with Stephanie's creation!
We love you Mrs. Stearns!

The Eckersons made this piece of artwork for the Stearns

 Fellowship and good conversation .

Ellie and Mr. LaPlante, that little girl is so adorable! She's got such beautiful, big, blue eyes!

The Stearns *love* peanut butter and chocolate, whether it's ice cream, cake or just plain peanut butter and chocolate! So the Fourniers brought these delicious Reese's klondike bars and at the end of the day there were four left so we each had one! They were sooo yummy!!!
