Merry Christmas!!!!!
This was our Christmas picture for our Christmas card this year, Mom wanted to take a good picture to put over our fireplace because the picture currently there was taken when half the family didn't yet exist. Stephanie made the dresses that the little girls are wearing. On the third day, after six takes we finally picked the very... last... picture. We had a final picture, a final final picture, and then a supreme final picture! And here is the final final supreme result! :)
Musical history:
Stephanie and Tabitha trailblazed the Mello's musical trail on March 1, 2001 with flute and violin lessons.
Stephanie plays the flute primarily, has experience on the viola and this past Nov. has begun learning the harp.
Tabitha's main instrument is the violin and this past summer our grandfather, Dad's Dad, taught her the mandolin.
Felicity and Chariti play the piano but Chariti desires to learn the flute and so has started lessons with Stephanie.
Tabitha is endeavoring to teach Hannah the violin who also enjoys the piano and is doing well with it.
Mom desires that we all play some guitar so we play around with that instrument, including Seth. We are planning sometime soon to add a cello to our collection in the hopes that Seth will play it someday along with the mandolin(it will make our grandfather very happy!), in the mean time we will all probably work at learning the cello.
We try to start out by teaching ourselves and when we go beyond our ability we seek an instructor.
Thus is our family's instrumental record! :)
