Yard Work

Some of our outdoor summer projects.
In between visits to and from friends we continued landscaping our yard.

Seth was able to do some great manly work!
The boy who tackles his work with diligence, and through hard work and endurance thoroughly fulfills his responsibilities will grow into the man of Proverbs 22:29, "Do you see a man skillful in his work? He will stand before kings; he will not stand before obscure men."

"Twentieth-century man needs to be reminded at times that work is not the result of the Fall. Man was made to work, because the God who made him was a “working God.” Man was made to be creative, with his mind and his hands. Work is part of the dignity of his existence." ~ Sinclair Ferguson

The girls (including the older ones) helped Seth spread the mulch.
Yard work is great for the health, strength and of course, the tan! :)
