Tyler and Logenn's Birthday

Happy Birthday to our two adorable little cousins, Tylar and Logenn!
Since the little guys birthdays are so close to the fourth of July my Uncle and Aunt decided to celebrate all three in one special day!

Stephanie made their birthday/4th of July cake

We just love them!

Sweet Auntie Flo, Momma and our humorous Uncle T-Jeff.

In this picture we have Mom, the oldest daughter, Vavoa, and Uncle Jeff, the youngest son on the right.

Vavoa was having such a good time just joking and laughing with her children, now grown and married, this is such a special memory of them all enjoying each other!

Uncle Jeffrey with Tim and Brittany's sons Ezra and Noah.
Ezra was feeding Uncle Jeff his cake. :)

Uncle Mike and the two little guys

Stephanie made a three-layered, red, white and blue cake, the top layer was strawberry and both middle and bottom layers were vanilla, later we thought of making the bottom layer blueberry, but we'll have to save that idea for next time. :)

Our little people, showered with gifts from our generous Aunt Margaret!

LOL! Uncle Jeff is so funny, he just can't wait to set off the FIRECRACKERS!

Aw! Just want to squeeze that little guy!

Yard Work

Some of our outdoor summer projects.
In between visits to and from friends we continued landscaping our yard.

Seth was able to do some great manly work!
The boy who tackles his work with diligence, and through hard work and endurance thoroughly fulfills his responsibilities will grow into the man of Proverbs 22:29, "Do you see a man skillful in his work? He will stand before kings; he will not stand before obscure men."

"Twentieth-century man needs to be reminded at times that work is not the result of the Fall. Man was made to work, because the God who made him was a “working God.” Man was made to be creative, with his mind and his hands. Work is part of the dignity of his existence." ~ Sinclair Ferguson

The girls (including the older ones) helped Seth spread the mulch.
Yard work is great for the health, strength and of course, the tan! :)

Summer...

Continuing on with our review of this past summer we have visits from friends!

We are thankful to have enjoyed the privilege of having the Rudds and Kaiser's over quite often in the course of the summer!
"Their all such agreeable people" Jane Austen

In the pursuit of urging our little man on to attaining a manly character, we're trying to find jobs for Seth to do around the house and yard so that he begins to form good habits of hard work, a diligent and responsible work ethic and strong muscles now when he's young. So we had him clear out this rocky part of the yard.

These are old friends that we have known for years upon years, every month or so we  gather together to fellowship and have dinner and dessert together.

Uncle Fred and his favorite dessert! :)
As soon as we heard Uncle Fred was coming over Stephanie and Tabitha knew that they simply had to make these brownies for Uncle Fred!

Chariti's 10th Birthday!

Hello All! In the following days we will be posting snippets of some of the highlights from this past summer.

Our first post is Chariti's and Tyler's birthday back in June.

Happy Birthday Chariti!!!!

Chariti's favorite cake has always been strawberry shortcake so Stephanie made her specialty!

Chariti, my cute little darling is now 10 yrs old. Chariti has always been a cute, sweet, happy-go-lucky, little lady-not a care in the world so long as she's outside with her whittling knife by her side, a gun in her hand and a whistling tune upon her lips! Dare you mention cleaning, writing, piano, or even worst, the dreaded reading book! These thunderclouds never cast their shadow upon her world! All is flowers and sunshine in the land of Chariti's imagination! This cheerful spirit has been such a blessing in our home! More than a few of us have been cheered in our moments of sadness by Chariti's smile and ready wit. I love you Chariti! I pray that you grow into a young lady who loves her Lord and seeks Him diligently!
Happy Birthday Chariti!

Tyler's 16th Birthday and License

Happy Birthday Tyler!
Tyler took his license test on his birthday and passed! So Stephanie made his birthday cake shaped into his favorite model of car and his choice color for the car, a burnt orange porsche. In the passenger seat you can see Tyler driving 75mph with his tie flying in the wind! :)

A few days prior to the birthday Ashley and Christine came over our house to think of some games we could all play together. We thought of a candy poem and a trivia game!
Mr. Kaiser is here reading off the birthday candy poem to Tyler, that Ashley, Christine, Stephanie and Tabitha had written.

Mrs. Kaiser read off the questions to the car trivia game.
We had almost as much fun writing the questions as everyone else did answering them!

Mom and her little squishee, Judah.

 Setherman

 Zoe, beautiful little girl.

Tim and Ryan,
Teammates consulting

 Wow Tyler, that is rather...impressive...
For every wrong answer to the trivia question he had to put an extra piece of gum in his mouth, he ended up with quite a mouthful!

Happy Birthday Tyler!!! The youngest Kaiser is now 16 yrs old!

Aw, so sweet! Mrs. Kaiser loves her boy!

Happy Birthday Tyler! We are so very blessed to be friends with you and your family!
Lord bless you as you grow into a man with a heart after God!
