What We're Studying...

THE GOOD STEWARD
(19 Parts)

ALL sincere believers long to hear those wonderful words from our Lord and Savior on Judgment Day: "Well done, my good and faithful servant"!
But issues of stewardship can be as confusing as they are challenging!: "Is it biblical to borrow money?". "Is tithing commanded in Scripture?". "How much money is appropriate to keep for ourselves, and how much should be given to the poor and needy?".
This 19-part series answers those questions…(and dozens more like them). And it explains that TRUE BIBLICAL stewardship involves much, much more than just our money!

Preparation for Christmas Eve

Hannah...

...and Chariti help chop garlic for our special Christmas Eve dinner.
Christmas smells begin to fill the air

Awww
Love this picture

Felicity sauteed the onions.
What great helpers these girls are!

♥

After everything has been prepared Mom and Dad allow us to open the special Christmas present that they have been talking about ever since they bought it! Our interest was quite piqued!

Sethyboy goes first and Daddy helps him to prime and hold the gun.

Go Seth!

 Hannah actually hit the target!

Tabitha's turn

Stephanie

Even Mom enjoyed shooting!
Now we will be ready to defend our home against anything! ;)

After a delicious dinner we take a break

Felicity and Chariti relax by enjoying a game of Battleship

Looks like Chariti almost sunk Felicity's battleship!

Time to worship together and praise the Lord who's birth we're celebrating!

Someone looks tired

"There is an enduring tenderness in the love of a mother to a son that transcends all other affections of the heart"

Christmas Morning!

We begin the Christmas morning gifts with homemade gifts from the girls!

I just love the scarf and hat that Chariti crocheted for me!

Teach your children! They NEED to know their second amendment rights!

Hannah's beautiful scarf-- made with love from Felicity
'Momma' and her boy

William Wilberforce's Greatest Works and Spurgeon's Gold, Pure. Refined.
Great choice in books Mom!!!

Dad gets a book by John Calvin

Opening my present from Stephanie

Felicity and Chariti receive their very first big girls Bibles! They are John MacArthur ESV Study Bibles and they will have these Bibles hopefully, for the rest of their lives from which pages they will gain wisdom through diligent application through the grace of the Lord.

One of Sethyboys's favorite presents!
Thank you McIntire's for so generously giving us these DVD's! Seth loves them and as you'll see later on in this post he and Chariti were quite influenced by them. :)

Four presents all wrapped alike and in the same shape, what could they be???

Cowgirl and Cowboy suits from Stephanie!
Awwww!!! Don't they look cute???

Stephanie made me and Mom matching PJ's!
We love how nice and cozy they are!

Trying on her sari-- doesn't she look beautiful?

Mom loved the story behind the sari, she didn't know what she liked better the story or the sari!
You can read the story for yourself in the New York post.
MMMmmm! Omega 3 chews, Mom's idea for a stocking stuffer!
Shaped and tastes like FISH!

Following are a few pictures of the different reactions...

Dad: "They're not THAT *cough* BAD..."

Haha...
Great expression mom!

Felicity ran to the bathroom...

Mom loves her boy!

Our Little Soldiers

After watching these DVD's

 from the McIntires

Our little Miss Annie Oakley and Sgt Seth were inspired.

You can order it for yourself here: On the Field of Battle

Here's how it happened.
I walked into the girls bedroom and suddenly a dark figure dashed behind the bed. That's when I realized that I was no longer in a dark bedroom with a few stray garments here and there, no I was in the presence of the legendary shot of the west who with quiet stealth was watching my every move.
I turned around to leave and gasp! Found the lady of the west herself, facing me, finger on the trigger.

*click*
Who goes there kid?
Not daring to face the legendary Chariti Oakley the unwelcome intruder turned tale and ran away with alacrity.

"Ha, that took care of him", she thought with a confident smirk

Then suddenly! *bang bang bang*
What was that? Indians! On the attack once again!
*bang bang bang* went the returned fire her bullet finding its mark every time.
"That fellow must have been a spy", she thought as she reloaded her musket.
The fighting thickened and she doubted her vigor, her bullet was finding its mark but her strength was fading.

With missiles flying above her head she crawled forward, her belly on the ground, feeling a nudge at her arm she turned and saw Sgt Seth had arrived to join in the defense!
With renewed strength and vigor she fought on! Bravely defending her home against those who would attack and destroy it!

With an encouraging smile Sgt Seth yells through the sound of discharging guns, "Be brave Chariti, do not let your strength down, the victory is given to those who endure, persevere and we will win the victory!"
Confidently smiling they fight on to victory!

Moving forward they capture the desired ground and as Seth reloads Chariti keeps up the relentless fire.

Switching roles Seth's gun rings *bang* while his mouth goes *pshkoo*
(you have to blow up this picture and see Seth's face, it's priceless!)

And Chariti fires the final shot! The battle is waning, victory is hers, and with a final warning we bid our adieus to this valiant and noble fighter! Be careful darling lest in your vigor to defend your home you instead bump the glass table and bring the flower arrangement to a crashing end!
What a blessed family we are to be protected and defended by so valiant a band of warriors!
Love you Sgt Seth and Chariti Oakley!

...Making little ornament gifts to give the people at the nursing home (pictures forthcoming later in this post)

"My dear Mrs. Bennet, our life holds few distinctions but I believe we may safely boast that here sit two of the silliest girls in the country."
But also two of the cutest!
